Training Information

Times & Fees

Monday:                             Older age groups: 5.30-6.30pm & 6.30-7.30pm

Tuesdays & Thursdays: Younger age group: 4.15-5.15pm 

                                             Older age group: 5.30-6.30pm

Wednesdays:                   Strength & Conditioning (Bill Shone): 4.30-5.30pm & 5-6pm.         

                                             Younger age group: 4.30-5.30pm

                                             Older age group: 5.30-6.30pm  

Friday:                                 Strength & Conditioning (Bill Shone): 4.30-5.30pm

                                             Older age group: 4.30pm - 5.30pm

Sunday:                              Mixed age groups: 9.00-10.00am & 10.15-11.15am

NB. Other session times can be arranged on request.

There is a £4 charge per child per session for all of the above Training times. 

To join the group, the starting point is a meeting with myself to: discuss all requirements and our philosophy further; to complete the required administration and to ensure that the training group is what the athlete is looking for. The athlete will then be ready to join.

Sessions are conducted at several venues including Woodbank Park Athletics Stadium the home of Stockport Harriers (for more information please go to the "Where we Train" page). Training venues change, to introduce variety or for specific training objectives.

                                                                                             

Important:

  • The above training schedule is current. However, I am looking to increase the number of sessions that are being run on a weekly basis, so please discuss your requirements with me, as the flexibility to do sessions at different times and days is possible.
  • There is currently NO waiting list to join these training groups.
  • There is NO membership or joining fee to be part of this training group.
  • The after school times have been set to: allow enough time for parents and children to get there from a number of different schools in the area; to have the excellent training facilities to ourselves and to get the training done before settling back indoors and having an early evening meal.
